Privacy, in plain words
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Short version: no cookies and no ad trackers. We count visits and clicks without knowing who you are. We keep your email only if you ask for the free checklist and tick the box, and we never sell it.
Counting visits (without knowing who you are)
- When a page opens, and when someone clicks a buy button or a link to the calculator, the site sends a small note: which page, which button or link, the website you came from (its domain only, like "google.com"), any campaign tags in the link (the
utm_part), and the width of your screen. - It does not set cookies, store an ID in your browser, record your IP address in that note, or follow you to other sites. Each note stands alone, so we can't tell two visits from the same person apart.
- These notes are stored in our database at Supabase, our database provider. We use them only to see which pages and buttons people use.
The ADHD Tax Calculator
- The calculator works in your browser. Your slider answers are never sent anywhere. We only count that the calculator was used, and that "Copy my result" was clicked; the copy itself only goes to your own clipboard.
Your email (only if you ask for the checklist)
- If you ask for the free Leak Finder checklist, you type your email and tick a box that says we may email you. Without the tick, nothing is sent.
- We then store your email, the fact that you agreed, where you signed up (the calculator), your calculator estimate at that moment, any campaign tags in the link and your browser's language setting. These are stored at Supabase.
- We use your email to send you the checklist and occasional Money Rescued tips. Nothing else. We don't sell, rent or share it for anyone else's marketing.
- Unsubscribe anytime: reply to any email from us and say so, and we'll stop and delete your email from our list.
Things every website does
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
- Our hosting provider and our database provider may keep short-lived technical logs (such as IP address, time and page requested) for security and reliability. We don't use them to identify or profile you.
When you buy
- Checkout, payment, invoicing, taxes and refunds are handled by Kiwify, the retailer of record for our products. Your card details go to them, never to us.
- The checkout provider shares with us what a seller needs: your name, email address and what you bought. We use it only to deliver the Kit, answer your questions and process refunds.
- We don't sell or rent your data, and we don't add you to a mailing list without asking.
- Each of these companies has its own privacy policy, which applies to what you share with them.
The AI part
The Kit suggests using an AI chat you already have (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini). Those are separate services; what you paste there is governed by their terms and privacy policies, not ours. The guide shows how to remove names, account and card numbers first, and you can skip the AI entirely.
Your choices
To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted: if you bought something, reply to your purchase receipt email; if you only left your email for the checklist, reply to any email from us. Some purchase records may have to be kept for tax and accounting reasons.
Not advice
Money Rescued is an educational tool for organizing money. It is not financial, medical or legal advice, and not a diagnosis.
